Long before gas lamps, electric lights, and other handy illuminators, humans had to make do with open fires for their various party and cooking events and needs. Unsurprisingly, we actually got quite sophisticated in this effort. Some of the old techniques have nearly been lost, but still have social applications in our world. This elevated iron basket results in: far less smoke and sparks on the bystanders, much better light, wonderfully uniform radiant heat from the embers, great cooking in those embers, and a way more festive atmosphere. I saw one of these at a wonderful Texas gathering and had to have one of my own. We would love to use what we learned to get you your own “industrial strength combustion event.” We ARE loathe, however, to sell these in parts of the world prone to high wild fire hazard.
